Our Story
Founded in 1996 and headquartered in New York, USA, Aureston Capital Ltd (Aureston Capital Ltd) is a globally acclaimed financial trading platform specializing in Private Equity, Foreign Institutions and Primary Markets trading. With 28 years of steady development, Aureston Capital has grown into a top global institutional-level financial services company, and is strictly regulated by financial regulators in multiple countries to ensure the legitimacy and transparency of transactions.
Early beginning
In 1999, with the initial transfer of $12.1 million to the U.S. Pension Trust Fund, we began investing in public equities, marking a key step in the diversification and growth of the United States’ pension fund.
Independent research and development
When the Internet bubble burst in 2001, Aureston Capital invested in R&D resources against the trend and took the lead in introducing the self-developed high-frequency trading engine "Viper-X" in the North American market. This was one of the fastest order matching systems in the industry at the time, making Aureston's execution speed on NASDAQ and NYSE several years ahead of its peers.
Expanding our Reach
In 2006, the AURESTON Fund surpassed $100 billion with 100 employees. We began actively managing public stocks and expanded into private equities, infrastructure, and real estate."
Active Management
The shift towards active management led to significant growth, resulting in the establishment of offices in Toronto and Hong Kong in 2008 .
Investment Strategy
2008: Successfully hedged during the subprime mortgage crisis and made a profit of $230 million against the trend In 2008, when the global financial system was facing a systemic collapse, Aureston quickly adjusted its investment strategy with its multi-asset hedging model and cross-border bulk trading network. Through a combination of strategies such as accurately predicting the plunge in the CDO market and shorting US real estate financial stocks, the company successfully achieved a net profit of $230 million in the third quarter of that year, becoming one of the few independent trading platforms that achieved profitability during the financial crisis. After this campaign, Aureston became famous and was named "the capital stabilizer in the crisis."
Sovereign Fund
2011: Leading the first cross-Asian and European sovereign fund private hedging transaction, with an amount of up to US$6.5 billion Against the backdrop of the accelerated internationalization of global sovereign wealth funds, Aureston Capital successfully brokered a US$6.5 billion cross-border hedging transaction between the Qatar Sovereign Wealth Fund (QIA) and the Norwegian National Pension Fund (GPFG), involving energy, commodities and currency swaps. This is the first sovereign fund hedging transaction independently completed by a non-investment bank platform in history, and it also marks the rise of Aureston as a cross-regional funding bridge.
Voting for Change
Believing diversity drives performance, we used our votes in 2017 to influence 45 U.S. firms to appoint women directors. A year later, nearly half added a female director.

Strategic Alliance
2023: Reached a Starlink strategic alliance with Leiden International Financial Group (LIFG), opening a new era of smart investment advisors.At the end of 2023, Aureston officially reached a long-term strategic cooperation with the world-renowned financial technology group Leighton International Financial Group (LIFG), and integrated its ace system, Leighton StarLink, into the Aureston platform. The system integrates high-frequency trading, statistical arbitrage, machine learning models and cross-border asset allocation strategies, injecting the core power of intelligent trading into the Aureston platform. Within three months of the cooperation, the platform's institutional active accounts increased by 38%, and the transaction success rate increased by 22%, becoming a turning point for Aureston to enter the "smart capital trading era".
